RIGHT NOW five
Maria Agiomyrgiannaki gave me this beautiful mix of words and images for RIGHT NOW. I think you'll agree she captures something quite poignant. I feel like this dislocation could be one aspect which people in the future [now, no now, now!] use to define our times.
We move around more than ever, we mix cultures, countries, cities. We are nomadic and sporadic. We create lives for ourselves in places we never expected. We are uprooted, we choose to leave. We are forced to leave. We connect to people from diverse countries, we love, we create, we share. We feel at home.
And with all this in mind, I wonder what a 'nation' really is ... can we honestly define ourselves by the arbitrary boundaries attributed to us at birth?
