Miu Miu s/s 07

Gemma - it's that colour! The length is practically ground-breaking for this season, the hippy tie-die contrasts majorly with the very up-tight (in a good way) collar, and that tecture from the shoulder adds interest - wow.
Elise - this shirt is amazing - so rigid yet so soft - this neck-line reminds me of the 90s + the navy/black combo is rad
Lily - it's those great pants again! This is very classy but also playful like a play-suit which comes from the round shape of the neck line
Laragh - Geometricity, texture, great colours and a split - what more could you want?
Jessica - this is a lovely colour, a great length and that collar is to die for. It's a big jump away from collar-bone-exposing neck-lines
Bette - what a classic cut, which is made interesting by patterned fabric.
Ana - I'm thinking 1940s tennis outfit with a twist, ps, lovely shoes
Lindsay - fem dress + masc trousers = very now.
Sophie - ruler-straight lines and great colours (love those sleeves, too)

Ah, Miu Miu! Sure to set a precedent for everything fashion-forward. In fact, Miu Miu is so far in front of fashion that it's futiristic. A model's dream show - it implies you've landed. Miu Miu has given us a beautiful collection, focusing on key colours - navy, maroon, white, red and black. Very stylistic cuts - square and sharp. But there are also pretty little skirts and longish dresses (a breath of fresh air after endless mini dresses were trotted out this season), as well as oriental-inspired patterns. No doubt a/w 07 will bring many impersonators, but Miuccia's the one, the very thing.
