Informality occupies a peculiar place as an idea, it is defined by an absence, a removal, a slackening but not to the point of complete difference. In the realm of fashion, the word informal attire indicates “a dress code, typified by a suit and necktie, for men”, defined as “more formal than casual but less formal than semi-formal.”
