New Planes Public Press #1

New Planes Public Press launch their first issue, Obvious Viewing, this Thursday night (3 February) from 21h at GOODGOD Small Club in Sydney. The event includes sounds from Djanimals and Kirin J. Callinan plus a free copy of New Planes with entry!

Editors Lisa Lerkenfeldt and Hayley Morgan write on their website that 'New Planes Public Press is an open model for writers and artists to experiment with text and images in print format. As an outlet for liberal thinking, critical news and alternative transmissions, the broadsheet blurs boundaries, overlaps interests and explores the relationship between a generation and it’s press.' This issue seems jam-packed with some great stuff, features include:

The Internet by Mary MacDougall, My Dream Place by Olle Holmberg, Bottle by Max Creasy, Duppy Housing by Dylan Martorell & Christopher L G Hill, Becuming Soon by Jack Jeweller, Tom Polo by Serena Bentley, Poems by Phoebe Loomes, The Third Wheel by Jackson Eaton, Hany Armanious by Lisa Lerkenfeldt, Meeting Milos Mali by Hayley Morgan, Accidental Still Life by Matthew Hopkins, and Hanging out on Lake Flacid by Tim Moore, plus much more!

If you can't make it on Thursday night, New Planes is available at these nice places in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne for $3. Bargain!
