Ohne Titel F/W 2008
Ohne Titel are New York darlings, I reckon! They are unusually cool for NYFW and bring a healthy dose of that effortless European style to the States. Are they even European? I dunno, but their name is, so that's enough for me.
This collection is TIGHT. I love it. I love that they've kept to a quite specific aesthetic and experimented, rather, with colour, pattern and texture. The styling is fab, using layering to the absolute advantage of the clothes, but without being OTT. This is a very directional presentation of the collection, but it is easy to see how it could be deconstructed and put into incredibly wearable, comfortable, stylish ensembles. There are also several key pieces which stand entirely alone.
Clearly Ohne Titel have their heads screwed on the right way, even if they can't think of a title.
